For years whilst driving to work in Tavistock fromLaunceston, I passed by a sad looking building that was once a village pub,and now, once again new live has been given and reopened after ten years. We have just been for Sunday carvery which was excellent, actually served in a hall adjacent to the pub. The lunch was good with meat and vegetables having a home cooked feel. A very sensible touch, there were three sizes of plates, so those that wanted to pile their plates could do so without everything spilling over, whilst the more modest eaters could have smaller portions. The size determined the price too.Altogether a very enjoyable lunch to which we will go again!
